So, did you stay up all night, watching the 68th Golden Globe awards this year? Are you one of those obsessed fans who dresses up and throws a big party in front of your TV? The gowns, the tuxes, the red carpet... No? So, you must hold out for the Oscar's, eh?
While the Golden Globes don't have all the sizzle as Oscar Night, they can often be a foreshadowing of awards to come. Many of the actors and actresses use the Golden Globe award ceremony as a chance to rehearse their acceptance speech for the Oscars.
Possibly the most entertaining part of the event is watching the fashion gurus judge the best and worst stars of the evening. Controversial British comedian, Ricky Gervais, included the following starlets on his list of fashion messes: Catherine Zeta Jones, Jennifer Lopez, January Jones, Natalie Portman, Tilda Swinton, and even Halle Berry. Really? Those women are so beautiful they could wear a bag and still look amazing.
Ricky Gervais' opening monologue on YouTube already has close to 4 million views. While Hollywood may not have liked the many zingers the evening's host threw at them all night, viewers are loving his disrespectful perspective on the celebrities and their work. In an interview with Piers Morgan, Gervais explains that he doesn't judge them...he mocks them.
