It looks like just an ordinary day in Ms. Frizzle’s class – but that doesn’t mean much – there aren’t any ordinary days in Ms. Frizzle’s class.
Today the kids all get on the bus for an adventure to find an undiscovered, underwater island- an island that hasn’t even been named. The school bus spins, stretches and pulls then goes high in the air like a helicopter, then it twist and becomes a submarine. Deep into the water it dives to the bottom of what looks like a mountain they see an old shipwreck.
They go deeper into a hot, swirling liquid deep beneath the earth. The melted rock is called magna and Ms. Frizzle explains that they are floating when all of a sudden Kapow! They and the magna explode out of the volcano and they have a soft landing into rafts and the Magic School Bus drifts down to a soft landing on the water.
