Colors for Fall 2010

If your getting married this fall, you have hopefully already picked out your colors. For those of you who are getting married fall of 2010, here is a little crystal ball look into some great color combinations. I call these the rich tones. They make you feel like you have stepped into a chocolate dipped, European event.

Here is a list of some of the colors and ways to incorporate them into your event.
Deep Chocolate Brown
Peach
Champagne Beige
Teal Blue
Rose Pink
These are some great metal choices, Bronze for some earthy warmth.
Gold, for rich deep wealth and elegance.
Silver for a modern feel.

I always start with dessert, so I will do so again. A deep fudge brown frosted wedding cake, with pale peach or pale pink, colored iced flowers or the real thing. Set gracefully on a champagne silk draped table. Pure rich, indulgence.

Crystal vases (well not real ones, unless you have that budget) with baby’s breath and pale pink rose buds backed up with fine feathery greens and then placed on chocolate brown silk tale clothes. Simply lush.

Gold candelabras or silver with champagne beige or pink candles.

A teal blue woven tablecloth; with deep chocolate chair coverings and teal woven sashes. The tables topped with peach colored flowers.

These colors exude an era gone by. If you think of a breakfast at Tiffany’s and the signature Tiffany blue. This is the power of these colors. They stimulate senses and will leave you with a memorable wedding for fall. Your choice of fabrics also helps add depth to these colors. Browns and champagnes are great silk colors, pinks, peaces and teal blue are great woven colors, or textured colors. I recently saw an event that was damask Teal and chocolate brown I was rich and painted a great feeling.
I truly believe that colors play an important part in the feeling of an event, its not just about what your favorite color is, it also has to do with how you want your wedding to feel.
