Scarlet, the Scarlet Macaw Jigsaw Puzzle

Scarlet, the scarlet macaw is really enjoying a red pepper in this jigsaw puzzle.

Thanks to Teresa Schnurr for taking this great picture and allowing me to use it for a jigsaw puzzle. You can take a look at Teresa's very informative web site at Companion Fids.

Macaws are some of the most colourful and largest of the parrot species. Scarlet Macaws (as well as the other large Macaws) are beautiful to look at and can make wonderful pets for an experienced bird keeper. The size of the beak can be intimidating, but generally, birds do not use their beaks to bite people, but to crack open nuts, and to aid in climbing branches and playing with toys.

If you have a macaw and want to talk about your bird (or if you want to have a macaw as a pet), please drop by the forum - see the links just below to the most recent posts.
