Everyday Astrology: How to Make Astrology Work for You
Gary Goldschneider (Quirk Books)
September, 2009. Paperback
Whether you believe in astrology or not, Everyday Astrology: How to Make Astrology Work for You, by Gary Goldschneider, is an interesting book and makes a great read. After reading the general information about each sun sign, I went back specifically to read further about my sign. I also read information concerning the sun sign of my mom and couple of friends. What I discovered really surprised me, I learned my mother and one of my friends were born under the same sign. I have told my friend countless times that she reminds me very much of my mom, now I know why.
Mr. Goldschneider has made his book user-friendly, it is easy to navigate and easy to understand. I particularly like that each sign has three main sections; work, love, and friends and family. Under these main sections are sub-sections; boss, employee, coworker, client, partner and competitor. I laughed out loud when I read the section, “Selling to the Pisces Client.” I thought the how and why of whether I will become a client of one person and not another, was an idiosyncrasy unique only to me. Apparently it is not.
Everyday Astrology is more than a “what’s in the stars for me” book, it is guidebook to help you better understand sun sign personalities and act accordingly on what you have learned. If you keep an open mind, this book can help you take a peek into your bosses head so you will have an idea when and how to ask for a raise. You may find out why little Susie is obstinate and why your friend Brad is so demanding. This book gives you a heads up on how to approach and interact with people from all walks of life.
