Usually our psychic side prefers to live quietly among the other 5 senses we have. Outside of a few “coincidences“ here and there, they aren't necessarily something that is going to stand out. There are times, however, when those channels are simply more open to having experiences we'll never forget!

Many people take for granted just how much we do use our psychic abilities each day. When it comes to holidays and other emotional periods, this particular window can increase what many of us already experience randomly.

While organizing holiday schedules, emotions are apt to run high and it isn’t uncommon to experience things we might not normally such as picking up the telephone just knowing who’s on the other end, or going to call out with our caller already there!

Dreams can also carry with them significant information we would have been in dire straights without. Many people have shared experiences, where someone in the family appeared to them in a dream the night before with information that was a life saver later on. It might be they were asked for marshmallows or a specific food coloring, or a tiny screw driver, only to have that same person call the next day asking for it or coming to the gathering and it was exactly what was needed!

My favorite story, though, was from a young lady out of Pacific Grove, CA. I met her while walking on the beach last Dec. I remember it was unusually warm. She shared with me a dream her brother phoned her with shortly before Christmas the previous year. His wife had a dream about their mother who had passed away some years earlier. She appeared smiling, pointing to the back of a washing machine to a very bright golden light.

Her brother didn’t have a washing machine in their apartment but she did. With the help of her husband and really more out of curiosity, they pulled the washer and dryer out of the closet they stored them in. Under the dryer they were amaized to find a favorite pair of earrings she had lost awhile back. They were a gift her mother had bought for her several years before she passed. She never knew what happened to them and the light in the closet above the dryer made them sparkle among the lint that had gathered underneath.

It is such a wonderful reminder when these remarkable channels shine through!So whether you’re prompted to bring an extra stick of butter at your next family gathering or happen to smell a hint of lavender or cigar smoke in the family room shortly after, just remember there are times and places that adhere to no rules, and prove time and time again just what our bonds are made of.
