Since phones and mobile devices all take pictures now, it's only natural that TatTap will let you upload pictures to galleries. Size is limited to 50Kb, so make sure those pictures aren't too big. You can rate favorites and leave comments. You'll also be able to see what pictures are the favorites of the week, faves of the month or best of all time. With interest in celebrity tattoos at an all-time high, there's also a special feature that let's you keep up with all the latest in celeb body art.
A massive database of tattoo parlors has been built into TatTap, letting you track down shops all over the US. Expect this feature to grow over time, especially if this app gets really popular. You can search by city or by shop name. And if you've got a favorite shop, you can rate that too, or leave comments about your experience for others to read.
TatTap also will let you connect to an entire body art and tattoo community. Forums are there for questions, recommendations and more. And they've even got a "Virtual Tattoo" feature where you can put sample tattoo designs over pictures of yourself so you can preview how that new piece of ink might look.
