E.B. Williams who is the mother of music artist Tonex (aka Anthony Charles Williams) passed away on December 28, 2009. She was known as a national evangelist, recording artist, and assistant pastor of Truth Apostolic Community Church in San Diego, CA.

Truth Apostolic is also the same church where Tonex's late father, Dr. Anthony Williams, was Senior Pastor and District Elder. The church was founded in 1992 in La Mesa, California. It later moved to the San Diego facility due to rapid growth in 1994.

Tonex took over as pastor for the church in 2004 after the death of his father and was assisted by his mother in this position.
