Decorations should include balloons, a tree(s) (even if it's a paper one), pictures of Pooh and his friends, beehives and hunny pots, and a small plastic wheel barrow for Rabbit's garden.
A simple picnic is ideal for food-sandwiches, fruit snacks, and juice boxes served on a blanket. For the cake you could use a cake baked in a bowl and decorate it like a honey pot (or a beehive), with Teddy Grahams stuck on top.
There are many games that are perfect for this theme, and can be varied based on age. For the very young, make bumblebee bean bags filled with rice for them to play with (chew on), let them make hunny pictures by patting their hands on food colored corn syrup drizzled onto paper, or a tigger race (whichever child bounces first, the most, the farthest, etc. wins! For older children they can toss the bees into the hunny pot (beanbags into a laundry basket), Pin the Tail on Eeyore, a Tigger race by bouncing to the finish line, a beehive or hunny pot scavenger hunt. For a craft they can decorate hunny pots (flower pots or gift bags) to take their favors home in.
For favors you can give small stuffed Pooh characters, graham crackers, or character sippie cups for the very young. For older children you could give small bags of yellow jelly beans, stickers, books or color books, fruit snacks, small Pooh toys.
