Great Dip Recipes

Party!!!! Just the word brings up visions of great finger and snack foods served buffet style. Food and fun.. go together like chips and dips. Try these dip recipes and see if you don't find a favorite for parties at your house!!!

We love this sausage and cheese dip recipe at my house. Well, we love all dip recipes but this is a favorite. Just serve warm with your favorite tortilla or any other chips. It's sure to be a big hit! I like to keep it on "keep warm" setting on my crock pot so people can come and go and it will always be warm.

Sausage Cheese Dip

1 large box Velveeta Cheese
1 lb. pork sausage cooked and crumbled
1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes and chilis

Cook and drain the sausage. Add cut up velveeta cheese and the can of Ro-tel to the pan and heat, stirring occasionally until the cheese is melted. Place in a crock pot on warm to serve.

This Cream cheese dip recipe is different. It's served cold and it's just super delicious! Like I mention below.. some people blend it to a smooth consistency and some people just mix it with a fork and keep it chunky.

Cream Cheese Salsa Dip

2 pkgs. cream cheese softened
1 can ro-tel
chives for garnish

Combine the softened cream cheese with the ro-tel until well mixed. Some people blend this but I like it chunky myself. You'll have to decide which way you like it. Chill until ready to serve. Garnish with chopped chives.

Another favorite in this part of Oklahoma is the Nacho chili dip below. Easy to throw together and stays warm in the crock pot so guests can come and go. It will keep the party hopping and your guests will love it!!!

Chili Cheese Dip Recipe

1 can cheddar cheese soup
1 large box of Velveta Cheese
1 sm can chopped green chilis
1 can your favorite Chili with Beans
1 can your favorite Chili no Beans
2 bags favorite corn chips

Mix together in medium or large crockpot. Heat on high until melted, stiring frequently to break up Velveta chunks.

Serve hot with chips.
