The Consumer Memo, 5/21: Wal-Mart recalls GE Coffee Makers
A story in the Kansas City Star online reports a Wal-Mart recall of General Electric Coffee makers. It seems that the “appliances burned, melted and caused a house fire, U.S. regulators said. The model numbers for the defective General Electric coffee makers are black 169164 and the white 169165.
