Summary:
This book contains seven one-day itineraries for antiquing in Vermont.
What I Liked:
Each day trip includes a map, mileage between each antique dealer, detailed directions to shops, phone numbers, hours, and websites for each dealer. Each shop is carefully described with what type of items each dealer sells along with whether or not they belong to the VADA (Vermont Antique Dealers' Association). There are also antiquing tips given throughout the book.
A couple of neat ideas is the "Along the Way" section at the end of each trip itinerary. This section lists some good restaurants and lodging. Also, at the end of each section are a few blank pages with the label "Travel Diary" so you can make notes about that leg of the trip.
The author has included pictures of many of the dealers in the book, a quick guide to antiquing in general, along with some pointers to picking out antique furniture and antique books.
What I Didn't Like:
There wasn't anything I didn't like about the book. Try as I might, I couldn't think of a thing that I would add to the book or leave out.
