STUDIO ALBUMS

Aerosmith
Aerosmith’s self-titled debut album was released on January 5th, 1973. Reaching number 21 on Billboard’s album charts, the record contained one of the band’s signature songs, “Dream On” and has currently sold over two million copies.

Get Your Wings
The band’s second venture was released on March 1st, 1974. The album only reached number 74 on the Billboard charts and had no charting singles. However, it still had such notable songs as “Train Kept A-Rollin’” and “Same Old Song and Dance” while selling over three million copies.

Toys in the Attic
One of Aerosmith’s biggest selling albums was 1975’s “Toys In the Attic”. Currently having sold over eight million copies, the album reached number 11 on the charts off hit songs “Sweet Emotion” and “Walk This Way”.

Rocks
Aerosmith’s fourth album, “Rocks”, captured the band’s edgier, rawer sound. Released on May 3rd, 1976 and eventually selling over four million copies, the album charted at number 3 on Billboard and produced favorites such as “Back in the Saddle”.

Draw The Line
Although not as successful as its two predecessors, “Draw the Line”, released on December 1st, 1977 and still managed to sell over two million copies. With songs like “Draw the Line” and “Kings and Queens”, the album managed to chart at number 11 on Billboard.

Night in the Ruts
The recording of 1979’s “Night in the Ruts” was marred by the departure of guitarist, Joe Perry, half way through along with other production nightmares. Finally released on November 1st, the album reached number 14 on the charts and has sold over a million copies.

Rock in a Hard Place
Released on August 1st, 1982, “Rock in a Hard Place” was not only the first album without guitarist Joe Perry, but rhythm guitarist, Brad Whitford, also departed during recording. The album still went gold, selling over 500,000 units and reached 32 on Billboard.

Done With Mirrors
Guitarists Joe Perry and Brad Whitford had returned to the band in time to record their eighth studio album, “Done with Mirrors”. While it still wasn’t as successful as previous records, the album has been certified gold and hit number 36 on Billboard’s album chart.

Permanent Vacation
“Permanent Vacation” is often considered Aerosmith’s comeback album. Released on August 25, 1987, the band’s ninth studio album reached number 11 on the album charts and has currently sold over five million copies. Songs such as “Angel”, “Rag Doll” and “Dude (Looks Like a Lady)” became hits with heavy rotation on MTV.

Pump
To follow-up the success of “Permanent Vacation”, Aerosmith released “Pump” on September 12th, 1989. The band’s tenth studio album featured hits songs “Love in an Elevator”, “Janie’s Got a Gun”, “The Other Side” and “What it Takes”. The album reached number 5 on the Billboard charts and has sold over seven million copies.

Get A Grip
“Get a Grip”, Aerosmith’s first number 1 Billboard album, was released on April 20th, 1993. Selling over seven million copies, the album produced seven singles including “Livin’ On the Edge”, “Cryin’”, “Crazy” and “Amazing”.

Nine Lives
Aerosmith’s next number 1 album was 1997’s “Nine Lives”. Released on March 18th, the album contained the hit songs “Pink”, “Falling in Love (Is Hard on the Knees)” and “Hole in My Soul” and has gone on to sell over two million copies.

Just Push Play
2001’s “Just Push Play” made it to number 2 on the Billboard album charts. With hit songs “Jaded”, “Sunshine”, and “Fly Away From Here”, the album has sold over a million copies.

Honkin’ on BoBo
Aerosmith’s fourteenth studio album was released on March 30th, 2004 and reached number 5 on the Billboard charts. The blues covers album featured remakes of ‘50s and ‘60s classic songs as well as a band original, “The Grind”. The album has gone gold, selling over 500,000 units.

Music From Another Dimension
The band’s fifteenth studio album was released on November 6th, 2012. Featuring over an hour’s worth of new music, the album reached number 5 on Billboard and featured songs “Legendary Child” and “Can’t Stop Lovin’ You” with Carrie Underwood.
