Jamie Foxx - Real Tattoos or Not?

With the realism that comes with modern theatrical tattoos, and the prevalence of wearing tattoos just for fashion, it's not uncommon to see a celebrity sporting a fake tattoo. Many of them have to do so for characters in TV or movies. But right now one celebrity finds himself the focus of a “is he or isn't he?” debate about whether his tattoos are real or not.

Actor/comedian/singer Jamie Foxx, who won an Oscar for his portrayal of Ray Charles in the movie “Ray,” has worn fake tattoos before. there are pictures all over the Internet of him covered in tribal tattoo style designs, but the purpose for this skin art was one of his own music videos.

For his 40th birthday Foxx did get a real tattoo, that much has been confirmed. It's a tribal style band that runs nearly from ear-to-ear just below the crown, on the back of his head. There was some debate when he first got that ink over whether it was real or not, with some people believing it was a design shaved into his hair. However he has shaved his head on several occasions and it's clear the black work tattoo is there.

What's got people really going is his recent appearances with his entire head tattooed. Some people are claiming the tattoos are real, however his spokespeople are saying the elaborate tattoo designs are related to a new movie he's filming with Jennifer Aniston. In the end there's a very simple way to figure this out: just wait. Either the designs will remain the same, or they will disappear.
