Luck Be a Lady -Paulette Firestone

I wrote Paulette Firestone to let her know about this book I am compiling about Golf games and wanted her to send me one that she has tried this year. Paulette plans to write a book herself later this winter she said and cover all the different games she has tried as her clubs Tournament chairman. Paulette has had many clever golf games she has tried in the past and wanted to have her include one of these in this book. Paulette Firestone is a member of the Old Westbury Golf and Country Club in Long Island, New. I have enjoyed my correspondence with her she is very creative.

Paulette answered and said that her ladies really loved this one this year called “Luck be a Lady”. She said it was a best ball format but with a twist. She wanted some dice to use in this event and went online and bought large foam dice. She gave each foursome one of these dice and one person in that foursome had to roll the die before they went out to play. Whatever number came up for that foursome would be their special number during the round.

Before teeing off on every golf hole of their round one person rolled the die, if their special number was rolled they got to subtract one shot from that person’s score after the hole was completed. That score, if it was the best ball of the foursome, it could be used as the team score. A different person would roll the die before each golf hole played during their round. The low team score would be the winners of the day. Paulette said her group had fun rolling those dice.

Paulette said she ordered these dice online and they were very inexpensive at www.mninternational.com which is a party store. The dice were very large and in different colors. The gals enjoyed the different game and rolling those dice. I did check out this online party store and they do have a wide assortment of party supplies and reasonably priced. This online store is from Minneapolis, Minnesota. I found such a place called the www.orientaltrading.com out of Omaha, Nebraska that I order from and get fast response. So a good suggestion is check online for a party supply store and you will find just the object to spice up your golf games at reasonable prices. Who would have thought that rolling those dice could be part of a golf game but Crazy Golf Games make the game a lot more fun.
