Adding cables to your knitting is one way to add simple decoration to an item. Cables often appear complicated, but if you can knit and purl you can make a cable. The cable is a technique every knitter might like to add to their bag of skills. These fingerless mittens are worked in the round, and if you have never worked in the round before you will feel like you've never held a knitting needle in your hands in your life. So take a deep breath, relax and enjoy learning something new.
