Here's a bonus – My Mom taught me this recipe passed down from her mother, Big Mama. They added an extra ingredient to excite the taste buds. You probably have most of these ingredients in your pantry.
1-2-3-4 Pound Cake
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
3 or (2 ½) cups flour
4 eggs
1 cup milk
2 or (1 1 / 2) baking powder
1 / 2 tsp vanilla
1 small box of instant vanilla pie filling
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter; Add sugar, and vanilla. Add eggs one at a time; blend well after each egg. Add baking powder. Gradually add milk flour alternatively. Pour into a greased Tube or Bundt pan. Bake for 1 hour.
