Strawberry Sauce for Waffles, Pancakes, or Ice Cream

  • 3 T. brown sugar
  • 1 T. cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 pint strawberries - washed, hulled and sliced into halves

Preparation -
Combine the sugar, cornstarch, and orange juice in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Reduce heat to low. Stir in the strawberries and cook for one more minute. Serve warm or chilled.
