cover

101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure, the sequel to Disney's original classic, has arrived and gone straight to video. It tells the story of Roger and Anita's plans to move to their Dalmatian Plantation with their dogs, Pongo, Perdita and their family to get away from Cruella DeVil (voiced by Susanne Blakeslee). However, on the family ride to the groomer, young Patch (voiced by Bobby Lockwood) gets left behind in London to embark on a big city adventure. At the beginning of Patch's adventure, he wanders into an audition for his favorite TV show, The Thunderbolt Adventure Hour, which features the superhero dog, Thunderbolt (voiced by Barry Bostwick). At the same time, Thunderbolt fears that he's about to get fired thanks to his envious on-screen sidekick (voiced by Jason Alexander). Patch's eagerness to help his favorite TV hero prove that he is as brave as his alter ego leads him and Thunderbolt into London in search of danger and excitement. But, watch out! Cruella DeVil is never too far behind, as she plots a kidnapping scheme with Lars (voiced by Martin Short), a modernist painter whom Cruella has taken up residence.

Disney has brought about a magnificent presentation with 101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure. The sound quality is absolutely marvelous. Trailers on the DVD feature previews of Piglet's Big Movie, Inspector Gadget 2, Beauty and the Beast: Belle's Magical World - Special Edition, Atlantis II: Milo's Return and The Lion King - Special Edition. By way of the menu, a preview of Finding Nemo can also be accessed. As an extra, there is a "Lost in London" multiple-choice game, an interactive tour of Thunderbolt's trailer entitled, "Thunderbolt: An Inside Look", a seven minute "Behind the Scenes 'Dog-umentary'" and more.
