Your home and each room in your home has an area that is conducive to bringing wealth, money and prosperity into your life. Finding this wealth area is relatively easy but making sure it is enhanced for optimum success is bit more difficult. If you follow the classic or compass school of Feng Shui, the wealth gua is in the Southeast corner or the home or room. If you follow the western school of Feng Shui, the wealth gua is in the far left corner of the home or room as you are standing in the front entrance way. It’s extremely auspicious if the wealth gua in the Southeast corner which is also the far left corner of the home or room.

Once you locate your wealth area, it’s time to add some enhancements or cures. The very first thing you must do is remove any clutter since clutter creates negativity which dilutes the power of the wealth flow. Other wealth thieves are such things as broken objects, frayed upholstery, carpets, or other household furnishings, dead or dying plants or flowers, and even pictures of devastation. Inspect these areas in your home and identify anything that might create a negative atmosphere and either repair it or remove it.

After you have cleared your wealth guas of all items that can dilute the power, you will want to enhance the area or areas. There are several ways to enhance these guas to open the flow of wealth and prosperity. The use of color is very effective. Colors such as blues, purples and reds are good choices. Symbols of wealth and prosperity can be used. Some symbols you might want to choose are a wealth vase, crystals, wind chimes, or a prosperity Buddha statue. Water is the ancient Chinese symbol of wealth so a fountain with flowing water could be placed in this area. The flowing water will symbolize money flowing into your life. A word of caution, take care to keep the fountain clean to prevent unwanted negative energies. Another excellent way to introduce flowing water into your wealth area is with the use of an aquarium with gold fish. Again, take care to keep the aquarium clean so you won’t have a reverse effect.

Plants are also known to enhance a wealth area. Plants such as jade, a pachira money tree or lucky bamboo are attractive and fit well with most home décors. These plants are usually available from local nurseries or flower shops and on the Internet.

When you are working on your wealth gua, let your intuition guide you. If it looks and feels good, the energy is probably flowing in a positive way.
