Get Hair Like Teri Hatcher

She was born on December 8, 1964, although she doesn’t her age in her role on the popular Desperate Housewives. If her face shows signs of aging at all, no one is going to notice. What is always in the forefront is her big contagious smile.

To wear your hair like Ms Hatcher, you must be versatile, changing the style regularly, from straight to wavy - it can be worn straight, wavy, scrunched curly or softly curled - from long flowing locks to up styles.
Her hair falls just below her shoulders and although it appears to be trimmed to an all one length page boy, it contains some light layering that adds body and versatility.

For a natural curly style, after shampooing, apply styling mousse, gel or styling cream throughout the hair strands, from root to ends. Use a diffuser to gently dry the hair while scrunching it into waves. Pay special attention to the top and crown. Scrunch small sections of hair close to the head to create fullness on top. Dry this area before drying the ends. Use firm hold hair spray to hold the hair back by spraying just at the hairline.

When wearing it straight be sure to add fullness to the top. Before blowing it dry, apply firm styling mousse or styling gel to the top and crown area. Root lift adds even more fullness. Blow the hair in the opposite direction in which it will fall. This causes the strands to stand up off the scalp. You may also want to use a large barreled curling iron or large Velcro rollers to add fullness to the top. A small amount of back-combing in the crown will keep the fullness in all day. Wear the ends straight or control them by forming a large curl or roll, as shown in the illustration.

Hair that is this length lends itself to many updo styles. Perhaps the simplest is also the most sophisticated. It is a sleek twist in the back with a side bang pulled across the forehead.
Separate the front section from the back and clip it out of the way. Brush all of the hair, including the hair above the ears, to the center back and form a twist. Secure it by sliding long bobby pins down through the twist and anchoring them into the hair next to the head. Unclip the front section. Brush the lighter side back into the twist and anchor with bobby pins or hair spray. Carefully smooth the heavy side across your forehead and back into the twist. Secure it with bobby pins or with hair spray.
