I am a shameless lover of classic rock, even though I wasn´t alive for much of the best music. But, that hasn´t stopped me from amassing a collection of LPs, cassettes and CDs of the best classic rock out there. Some of my most prized possessions are my original Beatles LPs from the 60´s. Well, that and my spoken-word William Shatner LP. You haven´t lived until you´ve heard William Shatner shouting the lyrics of Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds over psychedelic orchestral music. Yep- I´m that hardcore.

My favorites are the peppy sounds from the 50´s, including doo-wop and the mid-50´s superstars like Chuck Berry. I also love anything at all from the 60´s. The 70´s had some great bands too, of course, and 80´s bands are now emerging as the newest members of the classic rock category.
