I am fascinated by the many avenues of creativity provided by the craft of Jewelry Making. I started out as a collector of earrings, the long dangling type with as unusual a design as I could find. I moved on to collecting beads and then pendants. Recently I´ve discovered charm bracelets with their endless opportunities for disassembly and reassembly with beads and found objects.
As far as Jewelry Making goes, I am especially interested in applications of polymer clay, resin, beads, and wrapped wire jewelry. I also love minerals and crystals. I have an addiction to buying crafts books and plan to let my readers reap the benefits of the many book reviews I will be writing to help them build their own crafts library. For the next few months, I´ll be in training, so please have patience as I reorganize, and find my way around, the Jewelry Making site.
I´d also like to acknowledge a debt of gratitude to my predecessor at the Jewelry Making site, Chris Franchetti Michaels who was here for about six years and really built the site up to where it is today.
