The Bible is full of interesting true stories about real people. There is drama, adventure, romance and even comedy. I hope while you are taking this quiz, that you are also developing a desire to know more of what the Bible has to say. I hope you want to know more about each of these men. There is so much more to learn than what I can tell you here.

This man fathered an entire nation. He was a rugged and hairy man. After he traded his birthright for a bowl of stew, he became the father of the Edomites. Who is he?

He was this man's twin brother. Even though he was second in birth order, he ended up with the birthright and the paternal blessing.
Elijah’s name means ‘my God is Yahweh. He was a powerful prophet, totally dedicated to God. One of the miracles he performed was raising a widow's son from the dead. In another miracle, he called down fire from heaven. Elijah had a colorful personality and a sense of humor. You can read about him in the Bible, in the chapters between 1 Kings 17 and 2 Kings 2.
He was what you might consider to be a “man’s man.” He was a hunter who loved the land and open air. Read about him in the book of Genesis chapters 25 through 27. His twin brother Jacob, with the help of their mother, tricked him out of his birthright by appealing to his hunger. Esau made a few wrong decisions and had a violent temper but he also was forgiving of his brother’s treachery. His descendants, the Edomites proved unfriendly to the nation of Israel.
