Ace Cook's For Kids cookbook

This cookbook is offered by the Colorado State University Cooperative Extension Resource Center.

It is a spiral bound 166 page cookbook written by M. Freeman, T. Coyle, P. Dean, D. Foster, E. Donohoue and N. Gunderson for the Arapahoe Cooperative Extension Child Care Food Program (A non-profit organization).

Anyone who in involved in caring for children will enjoy this book as it is focused on delicious ideas for serving nutritious meals to children 1 to 12 years old. Nutritional guidelines are included with recipes. It is also divided into several categories including Child Care Food Program, Food Pyramid, Today's Child and the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, Fat Budgeting, Key, How to Use Key, About Ingredients, Breads & Cereals, Fruits & Vegetables, Meat & Meat Alternatives, Milk, Snacks, Safe Food Tips and an Index.

Some of the delicious treats for the kids include: Mini Vegetable Pizzas, Dinner in a Pumpkin, Apple Boats, Chuck Wagon Wheelies, Golden Smoothie, Fresh Strawberry Pudding, Burger Bundles, Oatmeal Banana Cookies and many more delightful recipes.

An excellent cookbook for childcare providers, grandparents, baby sitters or anyone who feeds children!
