Kelly Bliss has a list of credentials after her name: M. Ed. Psychoeducational, B. S. Mathematics and Logics, Certified Effectiveness Training Instructor, and ACE Certified Personal Fitness Trainer.
Ms. Bliss has been a psychotherapist and lifestyle coach for nineteen years and for the last 25 years she had been a "full-figure fitness instructor for people of all sizes and abilities."
The Mission
The Mission Statement on her site states she wants to "help people find the HOPE and skills necessary to: Escape the Diet and Binge Cycle, Build and Enjoy a Healthy Lifestyle, Put Energy into Changing their LIVES and Communities, Stop Spending Energy on Body-loathing and Weight Watching Schemes."
Plus-Size Fitness
Bliss"s website claims "Fitness is the result of your actions, not your body size." She offers 12 "Fitness with Bliss" exercise videos to help. Each video is 30 minutes long. The choice of video titles include:

The Form Workout
No Impact Aerobics II
No Impact Aerobics III
Sitting Aerobics I

Superfit
To help you pick the right video she’s developed a questionnaire of six simple questions. Based on the principles that every body needs aerobics, muscle toning and stretching for health, she recommends specific videos for each area. When I did the questionnaire six choices came up, two in each category. To cover the three specific areas it would cost $60 ($19.95/video).
Eating
Kelly has an excellent section on Healthy Eating. Again she makes it sound simple with three basic aspects: “Build Your Healthy Lifestyle, Make Peace with Food and Feel Better About Your Body.” She also provides a healthy eating tip every day and checklists to track your success.
The Workbook
There is an informative 52 page FREE workbook available under her healthy eating tab. I recommend downloading the PDF to your computer so you can take time looking at it and working through each section rather than staring at the computer screen.
With the work book you’ll find the basic topics: Savor your Food, What’s Next After Savor and Meet your needs. The weekly lessons include such topics as: Getting Moving, Motivation that Works, Have I Eaten Enough, To Weigh or Not to Weigh.
There are articles, examples, exercises (not the physical kind), and worksheets. The focus is on getting healthy, not losing weight.
Newsletter
Kelly also provides an informative newsletter. I’m unsure as to how often. It is readable online or you can have it sent to you via email.
Live Classes
If you live in the Lansdowne, Philadelphia area you can attend Kelly’s live classes on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. As well, she offers a 12 week healthy eating course on Thursday nights.
