Curvaceous Nigella Lawson

If a goddess walked the earth today I am more than positive she would look like Nigella Lawson. Tall, curvaceous, long black hair, creamy skin and a British accent. Nigella is the embodiment of these things and she can cook too.

Ten years ago someone like Nigella wouldn't have graced the regional television screens, never mind internationally. She is full figured, she is forty-four, she is a mother of two and she is successful. And women and men adore her.

Nigella started out as a freelance food writer in the U.K. In 1998 she published, "How to Eat: The pleasures and principles of good food". The successful book led to her equally successful television series, Nigella Bites where she cooked up a storm. She still writes for The New York Times Dining and Wine section and you can read her latest article by filling out their free registry.

Her succulent and easy to prepare recipes have delighted audiences the world over. A selection of her recipes are available at Channel4.com and a listing of where her cooking show airs are available on her official website.

Our image of beautiful and sexy is progressing but there is still room for improvement (It is very hard to find full body shots of Nigella; and her television angles seem very controlled).

Although the face of television has been slow to change it is nice to see some networks working on it. They could not have picked a better face to start off with.
