Chocolate Chip Cookies - Ultimate Version

Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 1 1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup Butter Flavored CriscoŽ
  • 2 T. milk
  • 1 T. vanilla
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 12 oz. bag chocolate chips

Preparation -
Combine the brown sugar, CriscoŽ, milk and vanilla. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Add the egg and beat another minute. Combine the flour, salt and baking soda in a separate bowl. Add this to the creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in the chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoons full - about 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in a preheated oven at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool 2 minutes before removing from the cookie sheets. Cool on wire racks. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
