Self-Care And Sanity During The School Season
Have you noticed that as the school season approaches the stress level rises in both parents and children. What if you could take the stress out of back to school season? Check out a variety of ways to maintain family sanity and along the way create selfcare for your daughter!
Let's start by providing proper nourishment, it's a must for the whole family. Take the time to sit down to eat healthy, nourashing food as a family.. If you provide a variety of proper meals it will help fuel the body. This is also one way to cut down on stress. I think we all know a little about stress.
Keeping the body hydrated is another important part of the day. Proper hydration should include more water and less juice, soda and coffee. A properly hydrated body is more energetic and alert. Because girls are more active than boys it's important that proper hydration be a major goal each day. This will also cut down on emotional triggers for girls, and create a great self-care technique in the process.
Encourage your daughter to exercise kindness - don't forget to have her start with herself and make it a family affair. Kindness not only encourages self-care, it improves well-being, enriches friendships and helps make you feel better about yourself. While encouraging your daughter to practice the art of kindness have her try this technique and the whole family can join in as well. Treat others the way you would want to be treated. Kindness is another form of caring and it gives us the ability to recognize and respond to the needs of others. Kindness will also make your daughter feel better about herself as well as give her a better outlook on life. What a way to demonstrate self-care!
Finally proper rest will help you and your family keep your sanity during the school season. It's also another great way to encourage self-care for your daughter and the whole family. Without the proper rest our bodies are not able to keep up with our daily task. A good nights sleep will help create balance in your day and welcome healthy habits.
A daughter learning self-care will promote human development and well being. Following the steps of proper rest, practicing the art of kindness, staying hydrated and nourished will assist with keeping your sanity. It will also encourage a lot of self-care tips for the whole family.
