Doughmakers® Grand Cookie Sheet and Cookbook
Doughmakers® Grand Cookie Sheet and Cookbook review

This bakeware "Created by Moms, Preferred by Professionals" has Bette and Diane's Original Pebble Pattern surface and it is an easier release surface for cookies and baked goods. This is a lightweight, professional quality baking sheet and browns evenly. I love the fact that it is basically flat and along one side is a raised edge for easy grip when I pull it out of the oven. Mine is a big 14 x 17.5" which allows plenty of cookies per sheet.

The cookbook by Diane Cuvelier and Bette LaPlante with Sam Stall, published by Regan Books, is a nice hard-bound book with 125 recipes for Success in Baking and Business. This is not "just" a cookbook. The first several pages are the families stories of how they got started. Starting as children and having the foundation of a large family behind them they share trials and triumphs. To read the history of their start is an inspiration.

The recipes of the cookbook are divided into sections including: Bar Cookies, Breads and Rolls, Breakfast Breads, Cakes, Cookies, Muffins, Pastry and Pies and Pizzas. There is an absolutely mouth watering section of color pictures of some of the recipes in the center of the book. Some of the recipes you will find in this book are: Italian Cream Cake, Nancy's Cheese Straws, Grilled Chicken and Sun-Dried Tomato Pizza, Doughmakers® Soft Pretzels and Swedish Tea Cakes to name a few.

This success story and cookbook is peppered with tips and humor and you know they've got something going for themselves to have gone from an idea to being distributed in over 2000 gourmet stores across the country.
