Apple Acres Farm Inc., products

Apple Acres Farm, Inc., has been a family owned business for many years. Not only do they provide some wonderful fresh juicy apples and other treats and gifts from their farm but they also host an annual Blue Grass Festival and many other activities.

Apple Acres Farm is nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of western Maine and only a 45 minute drive from Portland, Maine and North Conway, New Hampshire. One of the wonderful things about these folks is that you can visit them in person or you can visit them online also. They have their own little online store as well as their onsite store so you can order products from them all year long. Of course apple season isn't all year long but they have other tasty treats as well!

Some of their products that I can personally share with you include:

Apple Cider Syrup This staple from days of old is pressed and boiled right on the farm until it is just the right consistency and blend. Then the syrup is bottled and sold for use in recipes and on desserts, to sweeten beverages and more! The possibilities of this syrup are endless. It's a delicious additive to tea and on ice cream! This was also wonderful in smoothies.

Apple Pie Syrup We used this with french toast and I imagine we'll have to order more very soon. The kids loved it! This is a winner for desserts... how simple to use!... Add this to apples and top with crumb topping and you hae instant dessert for any occasion! An added plus there is No added sugar. No fat. Cholesterol free. Made from 100% pure Maine apple cider, nothing added. You can't get better than that!

Apple Crackle - This award-winning snack is a Wheat, Gluten and Dairy-Free Apple snack with a delicious cinnamon taste to it. You will love this guilt-free snack by itself or with milk, ice cream or other desserts.

All Apple Nuggets I think this is my favorite product from them! There is no end to the uses for these little pieces of dried Maine apple flakes! These sweet little flakes will delight you. We added them to a cereal crumb coating on pork chops and also sprinkled some of them into the wild rice. It was delicious! Another way we enjoyed these was adding them to cookies and hot cereal. With no sugar, preservatives, fat or added flavors these can't be beat!

Apple Acres Farm offers much more and it's well worth the visit. Their fresh apple gift boxes are available from August - December and they also have Apple goodies, and more specialty gift boxes.
