GMA Launches New Website
The Gospel Music Association (GMA) has launched a newly redesigned and enhanced website this week at www.GsopelMusic.org announced John W. Styll, president of the GMA.
“After several months of hard work and dedication by our staff and web consultants, we are delighted to unveil the new GMA website. In addition to an improved and more user-friendly design, we hope that www.GospelMusic.org now delivers an interactive environment that will serve GMA members more effectively” said Styll.
In addition to news and information available to website visitors about GMA’s events and programs such as the GMA Music Awards, GMA Academy, Music in the Rockies, GMA Gospel Music Hall of Fame and more, the website now offers GMA members significant new and enhanced features. Now members can enjoy a new feature entitle ePROFILEs. GMA individual members can now post electronic press kits (EPK) on the GospelMusic.org website as a benefit of membership. This serves as a promotional tool for artists, ministries and businesses and can feature songs, photos, artwork, biographical summary and contact information. Members will have direct access to upload their ePROFILEs, which will be viewable by all website visitors.
In addition to GMA-initiated news releases, the website now includes an Industry Newswire, with news and press releases posted by GMA’s Organizational Members. Organizational members are licensing organizations, publishers, booking agencies, record companies, TV broadcast companies, radio stations, music banking, and other companies working directly in gospel music.
All members will be able to log in and view the latest charts each week, including SoundScan Christian music charts and the Billboard Hot Christian Singles & Tracks™ chart. Lastly members can now post classified ads for everything from looking for a job to selling music equipment at GospelMusic.org at no cost.
“The website should be a place members can go to interact with the gospel music community. And, because the needs can be quite different for those already established in the industry compared to independent and aspiring artists, songwriters and musicians, we’ve made a determined effort to address the diverse interests of members at the new GospelMusic.org,” said Jerry Charles, director of business development for GMA.
