Horror Fan Feedback

So, you’re a horror literature fan. Great! You’re in the right place. You know all there is to know about human possession, murder, forbidden passions, under-the-bed demons, poltergeists, vampires, curses, polka...phew! The list could go on and on, couldn’t it? Since you are an expert in your own right, my question for you would be this: how many authors of the genre have you actually read? Come on...you can tell me...I don’t bite at this time of the year, silly.

Alright. Maybe you could rattle off a hundred different horror literature authors of the books you’ve read. I bow to you, mighty Horror Literature Master. But the FACT of the matter is, many people judge horror literature on the basis of...*gulp*...only...one or two authors! That’s it! That would be like saying that you love all ice cream just because you HAPPENED to eat one or two flavors you liked in your first encounter with it. But what if you, in your very first experience with ice cream, had a horrible flavor you didn’t like? Would you decide, then and there, that you hated ALL ice cream? Now, I realize I am preaching to the choir here when it comes to horror literature. Many of you have your own unique and justified tastes of the genre. Yet many of us, the Dark Children of horror literature, (myself included), sometimes get so wrapped up in one or two flavors that we don’t fully explore the infinite possibilities the genre has to offer.

We will explore authors from varying points of the horror literary movement, from past to present, and will provide basics on their writings as well as some attempted reviews of their work. Hopefully, this will enable the visitors of our site to broaden their own horror literature horizons without wasting their time on someone they probably wouldn’t like.

This is where YOU come in. I am not, as much as I would like to believe, an endless fountain of information. Please, please feel free to email me and suggest authors or books you think are worth exploring in our beloved horror literature genre. Let’s make some use of this site by spreading the glories of horror literature. Hopefully, we will all grow in our own appreciation of the genre while educating on its diversified greatness.

As always, you can email your suggestions to me. Let’s show the world that it’s time to be afraid...very afraid...
