Want to share your ideas and comments on different topics of interest to plus-size women? Then the Large and Lovely Forum at BellaOnline.com may be the place for you. The Bella forum is easy and safe to use. What follows is a guide to getting started.
The first thing you might want to do is check out the different topic areas. The Large & Lovely forum is filed under the second topic area called Beauty but here is a quick link. At this point, if you haven't registered, you can only surf and read the topics and comments. You won't be able to reply or start your own.
Take a look around the whole forum area to see what people are talking about. Before you can post any comments to any of the forum areas you need to "register". Registration is required to post new topics or reply to existing topics. It's free and private and you can make up a code name to use. You need to use a real email address. Your email address is not displayed (unless you want it to be) or sold but it is necessary so your forum password can be sent to you. If your wish, your email can be used to send you a note if someone responds to your post or wants to talk privately with you.
How to Register
Click on "new user" just under the BellaOnline Forums title at the top.
1) First it will ask for your date of birth. If the date you enter makes you under the age of 13 it will tell you parental approval is required and you won't be able to continue so please enter your correct year of birth.
2) Read the rules, policies and disclaimers before you agree to them.
3) Ok, now you've reached the details about you screen. Only the bolded areas require info. Think of a login name. Something fun that represents you. Enter a viable email address. If you want your email to remain private be sure to tick NO where it asks "Keep your email address viewable to others when you post notes?" You can skip everything in the profile fields but it's always fun to have an avatar so take a peak there to see if something tickles your fancy. The next section, "your preferences" needs to be completed. Read carefully. If you're ok with everything then click on the box to "submit registration". That's it! If everything is ok your registration will be successful. The only problems that usually arise are when you pick a common Login name. If there is, the system will ask you to pick another.

4) To log in you will need a password. Fortunately after you register you'll be sent a password via the email you used earlier. When you get this you'll be able to post comments and start topics in the forum. You can also login to your profile to change your password to something easy for you to remember.
For extra nitty gritty details on forum gadgets and dodads, be sure to check out the faqs.
Now you're ready. The topics of discussion are pretty much endless but please keep in mind there could be younger people reading the material. Want to vent about your day at work or that nasty person who was rude to you on the bus? Want to share a milestone? Did you see a really good ad expressing women in a positive tone? How about a negative tone? Did you receive excellent service at a plus size store? Share this and more at the Large & Lovely forum.
Hope to see you there.
