Slow Cooked Barbecued Spareribs

Slow Cooked Barbecued Spareribs
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 T. margerine
  • 1/2 cup celery
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 T. vinegar
  • 2 T. lemon juice
  • 2 T. Worstershire Sauce
  • 2 T. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. prepared yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2-1/2 to 3 lbs. country style pork spareribs

Preparation -
Process all the ingredients, except the spareribs, in a blender or a food processsor to create a sauce. Place the spareribs in a crock-pot. Pour the sauce over top. Cover and cook on high for about 1 hour. Turn to low and cook for 5 to 6 hours.
