Above The Fold By Raphael Baker

Guest Author - Dianne Rosena Jones

“Above The Fold” is an inspirational message wrapped in a small, straight to the point package. Author Raphael Baker who is Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Rags N Riches magazine knows a little something about living life “Above the Fold.” Mr. Baker shares advice, encouragement, and common sense insight with wit and charm. With his wicked sense of humor, the author puts the reader on the right path towards living life on their own terms and being successful while doing it. He lets us know that by living authentically, life doesn’t magically become easier, but it truly begins.

I must admit, I was quite surprised at how short his book was and actually called him to voice my opinion. He explained that he had written “Above the Fold” with a certain target audience in mind. I understood the logic behind his decision to keep it short and sweet. So, I'll put it this way. This book was written for the reader who desires immediate gratification. For those who have no desire to read 231 pages of empowerment jargon which never gets straight to the point.

Within the pages of this little treasure you’ll discover tips and advice on how to clearly define who you want to be, move outside of your comfort zone, have faith in the vision for your life, remove people from your life that hinder you from living the best life ever, use your talents, improve your skills, follow your dreams, and give to others all along the way. With these simple truths for living life, the reader turns the last page with the positive reinforcement needed to move up above the fold and be recognized for the authentic beauty each of us was born to become.

I hope that Raphael will find a way in the midst of all of his roles and responsibilities to write another book. Young African-American men who dream of starting their own business needs a mentor who will inspire them, empower them, and tell them how to success with humorous, straight-forward truth.
