Think Your Way Rich
Guest Author - Katie Byrd

It’s All Good, So Make Lemonade

Thank goodness! Being grateful for the good you already have and for all the good things on their way is what keeps you connected to the power of attracting more good into your life.

When you indulge in complaining, pessimism and dissatisfaction, you unplug from your “good” connection and plug into the stream of things you don’t like. This causes you to attract more of what you dislike. That’s the way the law works.

So focus your attention on the “good.” And, since everything, in one way or another, has contributed to you being at this particular point in your life, accept that it’s all good. Be grateful and consciously make lemonade out of what appears to be lemons.

This helps keep you on purpose with your main objective which is to envision and hold a crystal clear picture of what you want. Knowing what you want in specific, visual detail will both guide you and attract your desires to you. Your vision also strengthens your desire and belief in the possibility.

There are many techniques you can use to help you acquire “mental ownership” of your goal. Take the goal of a new house for instance. You can cut out pictures and look at them, write an affirmation and meditate on it and you can visualize yourself gardening, having dinner or waking up in your new home to a beautiful day. These techniques aren’t magic. They’re just tools to help you clearly focus and experience living out your desire. The sense of ownership can also fuel gratitude.

Holding steadily to your vision is like setting a course, steering your vehicle straight for it and holding unwaveringly on target until you reach your destination, which is the manifestation of what you want.

This is the way in which you need to use the power you possess. Never use it for trying to bend others to your will. Use it to manage yourself. Use it to create a clear vision. Use it to control where you focus your attention. (A focus on poverty is incapable of producing riches.) Use your power to hold your focus where it belongs – on the riches you desire.

Once you have your vision specifically, harmoniously and consistently “in mind,” then it’s time to take a look at how to make your actions pay off.
