It’s the days of World War II and while men are serving overseas in the armed services, it’s up to the women to make sure things run smoothly at home. This includes baseball, where scouts are sent out to recruit the top women players throughout the country. Upon seeing Dottie Hinson play, the scouts know they have to have her on one of their teams. Kit, Dottie’s sister, is also determined to play baseball in order to make it out of their tiny Oregon town. Kit convinces Dottie to join and both end up playing for the Rockford Peaches, coached by the hardcore and drunken, Jimmy Dugan. As they embark on their journey together, the ladies must deal with opposing teams and each other. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “A League of Their Own”.

· The list of teams is posted and the ladies scramble around to see if they’ve made the cut. Doris and Mae make the team and are hugging each other. Kit scans the list and sees that she’s made the team. She goes back through the crowd to tell Dottie and passes by Doris who’s still waiting to see the list.

· The team is at the Suds Bucket. Ellen Sue Gotlander is on the dance floor. The scene cuts to a view of Kit and Ellen can be seen sitting behind her. It cuts back to another view and Ellen is shown on the dance floor again.

· After the World Series game, Kit is signing a ball for a young girl. Dottie comes out and a man wearing a white hat walks into the restroom. Kit looks at Dottie and, in the close-up, the man in white hat can be seen walking into the restroom again.

“A League Of Their Own” (1992) was directed by Penny Marshall and stars Tom Hanks, Geena Davis, Lori Petty, Madonna, Rosie O’Donnell, Megan Cavanagh, Tracy Reiner, Bitty Schram and Ann Cusack. It runs 128 minutes and is rated for language and alcohol and smoking.
