Marissa Jaret Winukar, star of the Broadway show Hairspray is starring along side Pamela Anderson, Christopher Lloyd, Elon Gold, and Brian Scolaro in the new Fox comedy Stacked.
The main set of the show is a bookstore / coffeeshop owned by the Miller brothers, Stuart and Gavin, called The Stacks. The brothers hire a scantily dressed blonde named Skyler who is trying to change her hard partying ways. Enter the curvy and somewhat over exposed Pamela Anderson.
Marissa Jaret Winokur plays Katrina, the coffee counter girl who likes being the only girl in the bookshop. So much so she is not above sabotaging Skyler's (Anderson) new job at the bookstore. In fact, she takes great pleasure in it.
Christopher Lloyd, best known for his Taxi and Back to the Future days, makes appearances as the grouchy customer who enjoys scalp rubs from Skyler (all in a days work).
Despite Anderson being the focus for the show, "a comedy series that proves you can't judge a bookstore by its cover girl" Marissa Jaret Winokur definitely steals every scene she is in. Elon Gold and Brian Scolaro are a great casting for the Miller brothers; each playing well off the other. Stacked offers viewers quick laughs for its thirty minutes of viewing time.
If you're a fan of Winokur it's a perfect opportunity to visit with her every week for that great smile, big hair and trendy plus-size fashions. This diva is getting closer and closer to having a show of her own hit sitcom. Make sure you show your support and tune in every week.
