12 Best Foods Cookbook by Dana Jacobi

12 Best Foods Cookbook by Dana Jacobi is a wonderful cookbook full of over 200 delicious recipes that contain one or more of the 12 healthiest foods to be found! Now that's a treat!! A cookbook that also features the healthiest foods in a way that everyone will enjoy.

This is a soft cover cookbook, published by Rodale and is divided into twelve chapters with a handy conversion chart included in the back of the book. Chapter one discusses the benefits and nutrients each food offers as well as suggests other foods that provide similar benefits to each food. You'll also find everyday ways to use each nutritious food as well as buying and storing tips, and cooking tips and suggestions. I don't know any other cookbook that gives you as much information on certain foods as this one does!

The other chapters are divided into food types per chapter including:
Two: Dips, Hors d'Oeuvres, and First Courses
Three: Soups
Four: Salads and Dressings
Five: Poultry and Meat
Six: Fish
Seven: Pasta, Sauces, and Grains
Eight: Eggs, Beans, and Soy
Nine: Sandwiches and Baked Goods
Ten: Vegetables and Side Dishes
Eleven: Desserts
Twelve: Breakfasts and Drinks

This award winning food writer and chef shares with you recipes that will delight you such as Prosciutto with Tomato Tartare, Grape Tomato Salad with Fresh Herb Vinaigrette, Mexican Chicken Stew with Black Beans, Italian Pot Roast with Onion Sauce, Honey Soynut Butter Sandwich, Corn and Broccoli Pudding and so many more!! There are many delicious looking pictures scattered throughout the book and also food facts and tips galore to help you in the kitchen.

Top off the above with some of the tasty looking desserts such as Oat Cranachan with Raspberries or Chocolate Angel Food Cake drizzled with Dark Cherry-Chocolate Sauce.. YUMMY! A plus is the 12 micronutrient-rich foods included in these recipes that help your body resist major diseases better and are so scrumptiously presented in the book.

I would definitely recommend this cookbook to anyone who loves food but would like to include some of the most nutritious foods available in their recipes! Your family will thank you and so will your health. If this is a cookbook that interests you get a copy today. I love mine and you will too!
