Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher Tie The Knot

The last few months have seen Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher constantly denying rumors. No, she wasn't pregnant. No, he didn't propose during their Valentine's Day trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. But this weekend, one of the most written about couples managed to pull off a surprise wedding anyways.
Saturday (September 24), in front of 100 of their closest family and friends, the Moore, 42, and Kutcher, 27, married each other in a Kabbalah ceremony. The two have been members of the religion since they first became an official couple two years ago. Among those reportedly present at the secret location were Moore's three daughters with previous husband, Bruce Willis (who also reportedly attended), Kutcher's business partner Jason Goldberg (the two are the masterminds behind the successful MTV show Punk'd
), and Goldberg's wife, actress Soleil Moon Frye.
Both People and US Weekly reported the scoop late Saturday evening, even though the couple's reps have yet to officially confirm the marriage.
Moore has been married twice before. Her first husband was rocker Freddie Moore, whom she married in 1980. The two divorced in 1984, just as Moore was rising to fame on the TV soap General Hospital. Her second marriage, to actor Bruce Willis, lasted from 1987 until the two divorced in 2000. Willis has said in many interviews that he supported Moore and Kutcher's relationship, even going so far as to appear at Moore's Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle movie premiere, with her, their three daughters -- Rumer, Scout and Tallulah -- and Kutcher.
This is the first marriage for Kutcher, who has previously been engaged to actress Brittany Murphy, but never made it to the altar.
Much has been made of the age difference between the two, with many gossipers noting that Kutcher is actually closer in age to Moore's eldest daughter Rumer (a ten year difference) than Moore herself (15 years). It's gotten so commonplace that the two even poked fun at the gossip when Kutcher hosted the TV show Saturday Night Live, in March 2005. During his opening monologue, Moore surprised the audience by joining Kutcher onstage dressed as an aging granny. As the two were kissing, her fake dentures fell out.
I, however, feel that love should be age-blind, so I'd like to send many best wishes to the couple for a blessed union!
