How to Cook Your Cock at Pheasants & More

How to Cook Your Cock Cookbook at Pheasants & More also comes in the title "How to Cook Your Pheasant" and is filled with a good selection of pheasant recipes and also has some for walleye, one of my favorite fish to eat. This book comes from a group of people who have been involved in a Bed & Breakfast, a Pheasant Cleaning business and the family started the cookbook which is a valuable resource for any hunter of pheasants and people who enjoy walleye.

Jennifer has put together this wonderful cookbook that starts with Information on Ring-necked Pheasant, including identification, life history groupings and fun facts and then goes into barding a pheasant. The rest of the pages are many recipes and each one has a notes section at the bottom of the page so you can customize or write your own ideas and techniques down.

Some of the delicious sounding recipes in this cookbook include: Mrs. Kooch's Favorite - Honey Baked Pheasant, Pheasant Crepes and Sauce, Pheasant Chili, Pheasant Piccata, Pheasant Jambalaya, Creamed Pheasant, Hawaiian Pheasant, Pheasant in Whiskey and Cream Sauce, Stir Fry Pheasant, Honey Fried Walleye Fillets, Stuffed Walleye with Seafood Sauce, Best Breaded Walleye, Camp Style Walleye, Captains Surf & Turf and Walleye with Tortilla Crust & Mango Salsa to name a few.

There are recipes for everyone from very easy to gourmet recipes and all about Pheasant and Walleye! What a great book for anyone who loves these foods. I've never had Pheasant myself but I guarantee with this cookbook I am going to see about getting some now. And Walleye is a wonderful light tasting fish, the best in my books.

To order this cookbook visit http://home.earthlink.net/~sgk1/index.html and see what they have.. If you travel and hunt be sure and visit the links to the Owl Crossing Bed & Breakfast where you can stay while hunting in South Dakota and also the Pheasant Cleaning site where Kooch will take care of your birds until you are ready to pack up and head back home.

This cookbook is a soft cover book with over 150 recipes that will have you creating delicious meals with these tasty meats like never before. If you are a hunter or love pheasant this is a must have cookbook!
