Why did you model for Plush Cat/Satu? I never thought I could be a model. I knew plus size models existed but I didn't think I had the right look. When I met Satu I could tell immediately she was a genuine person and I could work well with her. She is very professional and helpful and she's able to give direction without being bossy. She is my favorite photographer and I trust her eye. She always makes me look my best.

What did you gain from the experience? I've gained so much from modeling with the Plush Cats. I've met some of the nicest people in the world here. I've learned a lot about self respect and self love through the other models: Satu, Tiina, Marlene, and Dana. What I love about working with the Plush Cats is that they bring out the best in you. Unlike the traditional modeling world where people are constantly reminded of their flaws, the plush cats embrace you as you are and show the world how beautiful women are. ALL women.

Do you do other modeling? I have not done any other modeling but would not be against venturing out now that I've learned so much from Satu.

What's your day job? I work for a large mortgage company running the front office and validating loans to make sure they are in compliance.

What do you hope your picture says to other women? I hope my picture displays confidence. I want women to believe in themselves and believe they can do what they want to do. If I had been told just one year ago that I would be in a calendar and be modeling for designers, I would have laughed. I never imagined I could actually get the chance to play dress up and feel so glam. Hopefully more plush sized women will look at the calendar and believe they can do it too. Believe me, if I can do it, anyone can.

What do you hope your picture says to men? I hope my pictures say to men that I'm playful, fun to be with, and approachable... because I'd like to think that I am all of those things. I hope men enjoy looking at my picture and that it's worth the $15 they spend on the calendar.
