Angelina Jolie Pregnant With Brad Pitt's Child

Rumors have been flying for weeks that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt might be having a baby together. Now it seems the story is true.

People Magazine breaks the news of Jolie's pregnancy in this week's cover story [photo: People Magazine]People Magazine is running the news as their cover feature in this week's upcoming issue, but they've allowed us to run some of the details of the story.

According to People, Jolie, who is currently filming the movie The Good Shepard with Matt Damon in the Dominican Republic, met with a charity aid worker in the Dominican city of Santo Domingo. As they were discussing Yele Haiti, a charity for the empowerment of Haitian citizens, Jolie reportedly confided to the worker that she was indeed pregnant.

People claims that representatives for both Jolie and Pitt have since confirmed the pregnancy. Recent photos taken of Jolie, 30, also seem to confirm there is a baby on board.

No details have been released as to how far along Jolie is in her pregnancy, but this will be the first biological child for both parents-to-be.

Jolie, of course, already has two children she has adopted: son Maddox, 4, from Cambodia and new daughter Zahara, 1, from Ethiopia. Papers were filed by Jolie last month in Los Angeles to legally change the last name of both children from Jolie to Jolie-Pitt. This would make it easier for Pitt, 42, to then adopt the two kids as his own. The hearing on the proposed name change takes place next week on January 19 in Santa Monica.

The couple is so far mum on whether the new baby will lead to them getting married.

For more on this story, the issue of People with Jolie and Maddox on the cover will be on newsstands this Friday, January 13.
