Robert Scorpio Returns
Tristan Rogers will return to General Hospital as Robert Scorpio after a 14 year absence. He will be part of the February sweeps. Rogers created the role in 1980 and became part of one of General Hospital?s hottest couples, Robert and Anna(Finola Hughes). Tristan left the show in 1992 when Robert and Anna were presumed dead after a boat explosion. The bodies were never found.
Anna showed up on All My Children in 2001. Now of course, the General Hospital writing staff will have to explain where Robert has been all this time. Why has he been hiding? Even his daughter Robin Scorpio is in the dark. It is reported that once we get the whys and where forth out of the way, Robert will become involved in a major health crisis. Now the burning question will be will Anna return to GH as well?
Emma Samms will return to GH as well. She will reprise her rool as Holly Sutton Scorpio. It has been a decade since Samms last appeared on General Hospital and nearly 24 years since her debut.
After leaving GH in 1985, Samms appeared on Dynasty, made for TV movies and guested on primetime. Her return to General Hospital is scheduled for February 20th. Her return is said to last for four to six weeks.
