London and Imagine Me and You

Guest Author - Rain Battle

London
Starring: Jessica Biel, Chris Evans

In his first feature film, Hunter Richards writes and directs "London," a drug-filled story about refusal to let go. Syd (Chris Evans) is a young party lover who loves money and drugs. Syd's only other love was his girlfriend London (Jessica Biel). He has never really gotten over her, so when he's told that she's moving out of state before he can say goodbye, he's very upset. He decides to invite himself to her going away party, but when he arrives, he immediately regrets crashing it. He hides in the bathroom during the party and is eventually joined by a British man. The two share drugs, life experiences, and philosophies. Finally, Syd feels brave enough to talk to London, and tries to convince her that they should share one last night of passion before she moves away.

Male lead Chris Evans also starred in "Cellular" and "The Fantastic Four." This film also stars Ned Bellamy ("Lords of Dogtown"), Joy Bryant ("Get Rich or Die Tryin'"), and Leelee Sobieski ("The Glass House").

Imagine Me and You
Starring: Piper Perabo, Lena Headey

Another first for a different director: Ol Parker wrote and directed his first major film, "Imagine Me and You." Rachel is a beautiful bride preparing to marry her boyfriend Heck. She's radiant, confident, and suddenly distracted when she locks eyes with Luce, the florist. In that instant, a seed is planted. In the wake of her lovely wedding, Rachel begins to question her sexuality and the wisdom in going through with her marriage. Although Luce is equally attracted to Rachel, she doesn't want to ruin her new marriage so she tries her best to ignore the attraction, but Rachel doesn't want to ignore it. Eventually, Heck catches on and of course, more complications ensue.

Lead actress Piper Perabo has also starred in "Cheaper by the Dozen I and II. Luce is played by Lena Headey ("The Brothers Grimm") and Matthew Goode ("Match Point").
