Did you have difficulty conceiving?
No.

Were you overweight or obese during pregnancies?
I was obese, probably close to 300 lbs.

Did you have any complications during pregnancies?
I had high blood pressure, no medication needed and Dr. kept an eye on it.

Did you have a C-section? Why?
Yes, the baby was not in birth canal and my BP went sky high (170/100). I was induced on due date and the C-section was performed the next day.

Did you have an episiotomy or epidural?
No episiotomy, yes on epidural. SAY YES TO DRUGS - I have never used street or illegal drugs, but this was something I just had to do

How much weight did you gain during pregnancies?
I gained a total of 30 lbs, all in the last trimester

Did you lose your pregnancy weight?
Yes, after breast feeding. Then gained it all back, plus, when I went on Depo Provera.

How much did your baby(s) weigh at birth?
7 lbs, 2 ounces

How were you treated by medical professionals during pregnancy and delivery?
Very professionally and compassionately, I received extremely good care.

What was the best part about being pregnant?
Feeling connected with my baby, my husband was so happy.

What was the worst part about being pregnant?
Feeling bloated, not being able to breathe during the last two months, sleeping sitting up for said period, heartburn, feet swelling to grotesque proportions.

What would you have liked to have known then that you known now?
I had good information and good advice from many sources, plus I read a lot about pregnancy and delivery.

Do you wish you had lost some weight before getting pregnant? Why or why not?
Yes, would have been easier on my overall health
