How I Wrote My First Book – Book Review


Okay. You want to write a book. There begins the thought. That morphs into a dream. That sooner or later develops into the internal push you need to get your ideas out of your head. Once you begin to write your first book a plethora of never ending changes and challenges seem to greet you. Don't be dismayed!

Millions of wannabee writers have braved the uncharted territory of putting down their muse. These books will help you to see into the journeys of many writers with their first books. You will come away with ideas and feelings of confidence.

I will also include books on how to organize your writing. How to get your ideas down on paper or into a file in your computer. One of the biggest challenges that hits you as you tackle the task of writing your first book is how to organize it.

For a long time you probably have had the idea of your first book in your mind. Slowly growing and taking shape over time. You may also have some of your thoughts down on paper, or on your hard drive. That is all well and good. But where do you go from there? Where do you really begin?

That's were books on “How to Write” will be helpful for you. They will take you by the hand and give you ideas that have worked for countless other authors. By reviewing several books you will find a process that fits your needs and personality.

Next I will be adding reviews of helpful software to make your first book writing experience a breeze. There are programs available today that will cut through the drudgery of the manuscript process. Formatting your manuscript is a skill you must acquire. So why not use the very best that technology has to offer to help you through this learning curve.

Also in this section I will highlight books and websites that can help you decide how to market your first book. Once it is written, proofed, and the manuscript is in the correct format. You are ready to find a publisher. Or learn how to self-publish. Either way, you will find guidance here very soon on all aspects of writing your first book and then getting it publshed.
