In essence, for $1 the player chooses five numbers, each from 1 to 47. In addition they choose a "MEGA" number, which is from 1 to 27. There are many ways in which the player can win, including simply guessing the right MEGA number.

Winning numbers are drawn each Wednesday and Saturday night just before 8pm PST. The winner of the fully-matched lottery sequence gets a prize worth millions of dollars. For example, the prize on 8/16/2003 was set at $10 million dollars.
