I have a cycling buddy who always tells me to rejoice when I am faced with a challenging headwind to ride into.
His voice, shouting “Rejoice,” has become commonplace whenever the wind picks up and going gets tough. His big grin and cheerfulness always takes my mind off of my misery as we pedal against stiff winds.
I try to remember my friend’s joyful voice, shouting “Rejoice,” when faced with the challenges presented by allergy season. It’s not always easy to make the best of that ever-present scratchy throat, irritated eyes and stuffed-up nose. It can be equally difficult keeping a positive attitude if you are a frequent colds sufferer.
Your allergies may be seasonal or year-round. They may be environmental or food allergies. Even in the best of times, you may be a little irritable. At worst, allergies may leave you too tired to enjoy the activities you love.
Each year is different and requires new strategies and information. I have learned that dealing with allergies is a lifelong journey. About the time you think you have everything under control, you learn you don’t.
That’s why I’m always on the lookout for new information on allergies and colds. I hope to pass that information along to you by writing a new article each week to help you manage your allergies or prevent colds. The day I discovered saline nasal wash solutions I wanted to pass the information along to everyone. It’s a simple and safe way to cleanse your nasal passages.
I’d like to keep you posted when I have a new topic that may help you manage your allergies/colds. Signing up for my weekly newsletter can help you remember when to check the Allergies and Colds page on bellaonline.com.

I plan to send out a newsletter weekly. The newsletter will always be brief. I know you are busy, and I don’t want it to take up much space in your inbox.
My goal is help you shorten your learning curve in seeking answers to better control your allergies and prevent colds. You may not feel like rejoicing but at least you might feel a little better.
